The year we married, Ed gave me a "Miss Kim" lilac for my birthday.

The "Miss Kim" lilac is a dwarf lilac. It grows slower than most lilacs and keeps a neater more rounded shape, even without pruning. After thirteen years, it is nearly six feet tall, which is about it ultimate height.
I love reading anything from this blog. It is refreshing.

From Sarah:My Great German Grandma lived on a small farm in Wisconsin, My  great grandparents had 9 kids. A Huge white farmhouse. They had an outhouse. Grandpa fetched water with a YOKE.
One summer when I was visiting, my great grandma taught me to make hog maw. When we started butchering on my parent's farm, my grandparents and all of use made hog maw. Scrapple...You name it , we made it.
