How I've Learned To Live Frugally

From Sarah:
Danny and I have simplified our lives as well.
I have to admit though, If we had a dishwasher here, I would gladly use it. I wouldn't run it till it was full and that wouldn't be that often.
I still hang clothes out to dry when I can. I dry the heavier ones because the humidity in Florida makes it hard to get them dry before the thunder bummers roll in. It's been years since either of us had anything new so it pays to take care of what one has.
We do monthly Walmart trips and visit our neighborhood (7 miles away) little store, only when we have to .
I make meals that we can eat on for a few days when I can. I freeze extras as well.
SInce I love to cook, I will often make extras. It's easy that way and I always have something to take out on those days I don't feel good.

Cozy Little House: Living Simply: Part 1 - Vintage Trailers

Cozy Little House: Living Simply: Part 1 - Vintage Trailers: The past few months, I've been researching ways that I could live more cheaply. As cheaply as is possible.  So that has brought me to ...

From Sarah: I thought this post was published yesterday but I only saw part of it- saved. SO Here I go again.

Could you live here in that little trailer?
Maybe not that particular one and certainly NOT that close to PEOPLE. LOL....But Yes, I can and have lived in one.
Years ago I when Bobby was little we had an 8 foot trailer.
It was cozy. But , we were fortunate to live on our family farm at the time.
Cedar Manor Stock Farm.
We lived next to the BARN. And we loved it there.

Cozy Little House: Living Simply: Part 2 - The Airstream

Cozy Little House: Living Simply: Part 2 - The Airstream: Today let's look at the Airstream. The first one was built in 1929. It has some advantages over the others.  All models are built...

From Sarah: This Post is another in a series  By Cozy Little House: Living Simply:
I love the last few pictures shown in the article. WOW: Imagine a claw foot tub in your Airstream.....

From Sarah:
I have never thought of it that way but Da Vinci was right .
Small house living IS NOT for everyone.
I will also admit; By the time the house we had been restoring for the state was ready to move into_ I couldn't DO IT SOON ENOUGH
I COULD TAKE A BATH .
We didn't have to be in the same room all the time.
Guess what?
I knew I would miss it. It IS HOME. And It Is OURS.
I never thought I would miss it as much as I do.

I have already shown this to Danny.
Since he loves taking baths as much or maybe more than I do He said "YES".

Check out the rest of this post. The pictures alone are worth it.
